26th January 2013 - Cowley Trade Fair

This was our first taste of public trading which went very well. We began to feel more and more confident in our selling abilities as the day progressed, and today was also an opportunity to hear feedback from the public and our customers who had previously bought the book. As well as managing to sell Read. Watch. Cook we were delighted to win the awards for Best Product and Best Stand at this event!

23rd â€‹February 2013 - Banbury Trade Fair

This event was held in an empty shop, and it was very diffcult to sell. We were not allowed to leave the store to advertise our product in the shopping centre, and had wait for customers to come to our stall. Although selling was tough, demonstrations of our QR codes meant we could show the unique features of our product and this impressed all members of the public. We even had the chance to meet the Mayor of Banbury, who was judging the award for Best Stand, and were chosen winners for Best Product and Best Stand at this event!

16th March 2013 - Stratford Trade Fair

Selling at Stratford brought us into a very different environment compared to the previous Trade Fairs. The event was held outside, and due to bad weather, there were few customers in the morning. Up against 55 other schools also made it more difficult to sell initially, but luckily our new outfits - a chefs hat and apron with our logo - helped to attract customers. The continuation of having an iPad and smartphones ready for demonstrations meant we could still impress customers by showing how our QR codes worked, and sell Read. Watch. Cook.

We are very happy to announce that we were chosen as winners of the 1st Prize at the Stratford Trade Fair!
